Adult volunteers are essential to make the Girl Scout Leadership Experience available to girls. Each adult, regardless of the position she/he holds - volunteer or paid staff, contributes to helping girls by supporting the mission “Girl Scouting builds girls of courage, confidence, and character, who make the world a better place. We recognize that by enriching our volunteers’ experience in Girl Scouting, we enrich girls’ experience.

The Loveland Service Unit is a geographical division of Girl Scouts of Western Ohio comprised of girls who live in the Loveland school district and attend St. Columban.  The Loveland Service Team is made up of volunteers who help manage the service unit and deliver the Girl Scout Program.

Ways to volunteer in the Loveland Service unit:

  • Troop Leader:  Email us ( if you are interested in becoming a Girl Scout Leader and one of our recruiters will contact you.
  • Troop Level: Contact your daughter's leader and see how you can best help.
  • Service Unit Level:  Join our service team - email us ( and one of the Service Unit Managers will contact you.
Once you know how you will be helping, you may be directed to fill out a volunteer application and submit to a back ground check. This will depend on what you end up volunteering for.
